School Grounds Working Party

Dear Parents and anyone else that can help,

It's officially Spring, so it's time to dust down those garden tools, stretch your legs, breath the fresh air and come and help spring clean the school grounds!

We have a School Grounds Working Party this Saturday, 6 March from 9.30 to 12.00.  Our aim is to:

  • Clear out and tidy 'The Friends' shed.
  • Replace felt on shed roof.
  • Dig over, compost and prepare the children's raised beds so they can start planting.
  • Replenish rope on the adventure playground.
  • Generally tidy up the school grounds.

Any help you are able to give would be greatly appreciated.  If you have garden forks, spades, rakes, brushes and wheelbarrows in need of exercise then please bring them too, if you can.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

If you are able to spare some time we would love to see you.

Thanks in advance for your help and as the saying goes, 'many hands make light work'!

Best wishes

Amanda

PS: Don’t forget the Quiz and Curry night this Friday in the village hall, see website for details.
