Lainston Houes, Hotel du Vin, Chewton Glen and Lime Wood charity events
Dear all,
I have organised two ‘’Ready Steady cook style charity chefs’ challenge’’ the first at Ballard school in New Milton on July 12th and the second at Thornden school on September 30th Here are a few more details.
The Chewton Glen and Lime Wood hotels event is part of the Hampshire food festival program. The Joseph Patrick trust ( a division of Muscular Dystrophy) and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be the beneficiaries.
I have a second charity event . The same format but between Hotel du Vin and Lainston House (Winchester) being held at Thornden Hall Performing Arts centre in Chandlers Ford (just off junction 12 M3). This is on September 30th. The event is in association with WAVE105 and will be promoted on air and on their website (already listed). WAVE105 Cash for Kids , Macmillan Cancer support and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be the beneficiaries.
These events were my idea and I have put them together as a volunteer, giving my time, energy and enthusiasm for free. I am not a professional fund raiser (I am a Beauty Therapist). There is currently a committee of 1 which is me!
I have created http://www.cookerydemo.co.uk to make up for the small committee.
I have a total of 600+ tickets to sell so any publicity would be a tremendous help.
I hope that this might be of interest to the village.
With my very best wishes
Katy Metson 02380 266999 (my Beauty Therapy phone line so don’t panic if you hear a strange message!)
