Beat surgeries
Hi,
As Safer Neighbourhood Police Officers (beat officers) myself and Gavin try to arrange beat surgeries periodically in the villages within our beat area. These generally entail us being at a location for an hour or so to enable local people to come and meet us, and discuss any issues that they may have concerns over.
The dates and times are generally picked by Gavin and myself to fit in with our shift patterns, but we are aware of trying to pick relevant times to ensure the potential for maximum visits.
On that note I would like to ask the following questions of the Hursley residents;
i) What time of day will be most suited to service the community as a whole?
Ii) What day of the week is the most suitable?
Iii) What location within the village would be most suitable (we have use of a mobile police station)?
Any thoughts, please let myself or Gavin know and we will look to arrange a something sitable based upon your response.

I would support a mid-week early evening approach to Beat surgeries. I would suggest the Parish Hall (Archie Heath room) as being an ideal place to hold such a meeting. As much notice as possible to a meeting would also be useful.
Thanks
