Beat priorities
Dear Hursley residents,Can I bring to your attention beat priorities? As part of the Hampshire Policing Plan, your local Safer Neighbourhood Team based at Twyford want to engage the community of Hursley to find out what matters most where you live. What are your concerns and worries? These will potentially become the priorities that Hursley want the police to act upon. We will then look to work with you and partner agencies for the area, and agree a way forward together to tackle them. Gavin and I want the priorities to be your choice, and we require issues which are clearly current, relevant and impact upon your quality of life. When priorities are agreed we are expected to give a result within a set period; some issues other villages have brought to us have been dealt with very quickly, whilst some are potentially very long term so resulting can be fluid depending on the problem. The main thing is you can have your say and hopefully see tangible results! Some issues that get brought to us are not a policing issue, but we maybe able to point out a suitable agency to assist. If some of the issues you raise do not become current priorities, rest assured that Gavin and I will look to address whatever is brought to our attention.I think that this website has the potential to give us our best priorities because of the good cross section of the village whom it caters for. We sometimes have difficulties from other areas getting priorities, and what we do get can sometimes be repetitive, not current, and from a very small cross section of people i.e. Parish Councils. There is no date by when we need a response, so please think how we can solve your issues.Thank you for your timeMark & GavinMark Smith PC1576 - mark.smith.1576@hampshire.pnn.police.ukGavin COOPER PCSO 13290 - gavin.cooper@hampshire.pnn.police.ukPlease do take a few minutes to leave your comments and suggestions by clicking on the link below, or reply directly to Mark and Gavin via email addresses above.
